Coolant Crossover Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure


1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Lift and support the intake manifold.

3. Drain the engine coolant.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector at the coolant bridge.







5. Disconnect the coolant hoses at the coolant bridge.

6. Remove the coolant bridge bolts.

7. Remove the coolant bridge.

8. Remove all 4 seals at the coolant bridge.







1. Clean and dry the area before installing new seals.

2. Install the lower seals into position.

3. Install the coolant bridge.

4. Install the upper seals into position.

5. Install the coolant bridge bolt.


Tighten

Tighten the coolant bridge bolt to 30 N-m (22 lb ft).

6. Connect the electrical connector at the coolant bridge.

7. Connect the coolant hoses at the coolant bridge.





8. Install the intake manifold.

9. Connect the negative battery cable.


Tighten

Tighten the battery terminal bolt to 17 N-m (13 lb ft).


10. Fill the coolant.
