19. Channel Plate and Gasket Removal

CHANNEL PLATE AND GASKET REMOVAL





1. Remove channel plate bolts.
2. Remove channel plate assembly. Keep the following components with the channel plate:
- The drive sprocket to channel plate thrust washer.
- The three accumulator pistons.
- The manual valve.
- The detent lever spring and bolt.

3. Remove and discard channel plate-to-case gasket.
