Grille Applique Replacement - Upper

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the screws that retain the grille applique to the grille.




3. Depress the retainer tabs on the grille applique.
4. Gently pull on the grille applique. Remove the grille applique.
5. If the grille applique is being replaced, remove the emblem. Refer to Emblem Replacement - Grille (Door Lower Molding Replacement (Rear Door)) .



Installation Procedure

1. If the grille applique was replaced, install the emblem. Refer to Emblem Replacement - Grille (Door Lower Molding Replacement (Rear Door)) .
2. If the grille appliques was replaced, install a new grille applique molding. Refer toGrille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement (XTREME))




3. Align the upper center grille tabs into the retaining pockets.
4. Gently push the upper center grille into position until the grille retainer tabs are seated into place.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the screws that retain the grille applique to the grille.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Close the hood.
