Scan Tool Data Definitions

Data Display/Definitions
The Scan Tool Data Display/Definitions contains a brief description of all the ABS/TCS/VSES data parameters. The menus available depend on the number and type of system on the vehicle and are listed below in alphanumeric order.

ABS Active: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The scan tool will display Yes when the ABS is active and No during normal vehicle operation.

ABS Telltale: The scan tool will display On or Off depending on the state of the ABS indicator.

Brake Switch: The scan tool will display Applied or Released depending on the state of the brake switch.

DRP Active: The scan tool will display Yes/No depending on the state of the DRP.

DRP Disabled: The scan tool will display Yes/No depending on the state of the DRP.

Ignition Voltage: The scan tool displays 0 - 17 Volts. The scan tool displays the level of ignition voltage at the EBCM.

LF Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool will display Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LF inlet solenoid valve.

LF Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool will display Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LF outlet solenoid valve.

Left Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 - 255 km/h or (0 - 158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left front wheel.

Left Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 - 255 km/h or (0 - 158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left rear wheel.

LR Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LR inlet solenoid valve.

LR Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LR outlet solenoid valve.

Part Number: The scan tool displays Controller Information. The scan tool displays the EBCM part number.

RF Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF inlet solenoid valve.

RF Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF outlet solenoid valve.

Right Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 - 255 km/h or (0 - 158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right front wheel.

RR Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive - The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RR inlet solenoid valve.

RR Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive - The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RR outlet solenoid valve.

Right Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 - 255 km/h or (0 - 158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right rear wheel.

Software Release Level: The scan tool displays Controller Information. The scan tool displays the EBCM software release level.

Traction Switch: The scan tool displays Pressed or Released. The scan tool will display the state of the Traction Control Switch.

Traction Switch LED: The scan tool will display On or Off depending on the state of the switch LED indicator.

Valve Relay: The scan tool will display On/Off depending on the state of the relay.
