Door Replacement - Rear




1. Remove the rear door outer panel. Refer to Outer Door Panel Replacement Rear - Bolt On ().
2. Remove the rear door sound insulator. Refer to Sound Insulator Replacement - Rear Door (Door Insulator).
3. Remove the wiring harness access plug.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector at the body side.
5. Remove the rear door check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair).
6. Support the door.
7. Remove the nuts and reinforcement plates from the door structure.
8. With an assistant remove the door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. With an assistant position the door to hinge studs.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the reinforcement plates and nuts to studs.

Tighten the nuts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).

3. Install the rear door check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair).
4. Verify the door is aligned properly at the header and the front and rear appliques. If the door adjustment is required, refer to Door Adjustment - Rear (Adjustments).
5. Connect the wiring harness connector.
6. Install the wiring harness access plug.
7. Install the rear door insulator. Refer to Sound Insulator Replacement - Rear Door (Door Insulator).
8. Install the rear door outer panel. Refer to Outer Door Panel Replacement Rear - Bolt On ().
9. Inspect the door for proper alignment.
