Wiring Harness Replacement - Rear Door

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the wiring retainers from the door structure.
4. Remove the 2 rubber grommets and pull the complete wiring harness out of the door structure.
5. Pull the complete harness out of the door structure routing harness between the rear door and rocker panel.
6. Remove the rubber grommet from the B-pillar and disconnect the electrical connection.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the wiring harness to the electrical connector at the B-pillar.
2. Route the harness under the rear door.
3. Route the harness through the rear door connector opening and install.
4. Install the 2 rubber grommets.
5. Connect the wiring retainers to the door structure.
6. Connect the electrical connectors.
7. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair)
8. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
