Motor Replacement - Power Mirror

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement).




2. Remove the mirror trim panel by pulling out at the top.




3. Remove the foam filler.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror wire harness.




5. Remove the screws from the mirror motor.
6. Pull the motor electrical harness through the mirror housing.
7. Remove the mirror motor from the mirror housing.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the motor to the mirror housing.
2. Pull the mirror motor electrical harness through to the inside door panel.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror wire harness.
4. Install the mirror motor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




5. Install the screws to the mirror motor.

Tighten the mirror motor screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

6. Install the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement).
7. Inspect the operation of the mirror.




8. Install the foam filler.




9. Install the mirror trim cover by placing the lower portion of the cover behind the trim panel and push in on the top fastener.
