Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad

REMOVAL




1. Remove seat from vehicle.
2. Remove inner recliner cover fasteners.




3. Remove outer valance panel.




4. On power seat option and heated seats, disconnect power recliner and seat back heat pad harness.
5. Remove recliner fasteners and remove seat back assembly.




6. Remove seat cover J-strip from seat frame at back of cushion




7. If pad is to be replaced on heated seats, disconnect heated seat wiring connector from seat frame harness.




8. Remove seat cushion carrier fasteners and remove seat carrier from seat adjuster.




9. Using a flat blade screwdriver, disengage J-strip from seat cushion carrier.




10. Pull up material to expose hog rings in foam pad. Remove hog rings and remove cover.

INSTALLATION




1. Position seat cushion cover over seat cushion foam.




2. Position seat cushion pad onto seat carrier.




3. Attach seat cushion J-strips to seat carrier around front and sides.




4. Position cushion carrier to seat adjuster and secure with fasteners.

Torque:
Seat Cushion Carrier-to-Seat Adjuster Fasteners: 20 N.m (15 ft-lbs)





5. Wrap seat cover material over the back of seat adjuster and secure with J-strip.




6. On power seat and heated seat, route and connect power seat recliner and heat pad harness to seat pad wiring harness.




7. Install seat back assembly to seat adjuster.

Torque:
Recliner Fasteners: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)





8. Install inner recliner cover.

Torque:
Inner Recliner Cover Fasteners: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)





9. Install outer valance panel.




10. Install seat into vehicle.
