Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair

AIR PUMP SOLENOID

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect air pump solenoid harness connector.
2. Remove vacuum hoses.
3. Remove bolt.
4. Remove air pump solenoid.

INSTALLATION




1. Install air pump solenoid.
2. Install and torque bolt.

Torque:
Air Pump Solenoid Bolt: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

3. Install vacuum hoses.
4. Connect air pump solenoid harness connector. Push in connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
