18. Engine Oil Cooler Removal

OIL COOLER (UNIT REPAIR)

REMOVAL





1. Remove oil cooler pipe fittings from oil cooler.
2. Remove oil cooler pipe seals from oil cooler.





3. Remove oil cooler pipe fittings from engine block.

IMPORTANT: Oil filter housing must be removed to allow access to oil cooler pipe fittings.

4. Remove oil cooler pipes from engine.





5. Remove engine oil cooler inlet nuts.
6. Remove engine oil cooler outlet nut.
7. Remove engine oil cooler cover bolts.
8. Remove engine oil cooler cover.
9. Remove engine oil cooler.
10. Remove oil cooler inlet/outlet O-ring seals.
