Fender Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel () in Exterior Trim.
2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the grill. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement - Front Bumper - Upper (Fascia Grille Replacement - Front Bumper - Upper) in Bumpers.
4. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
5. Remove the front fascia lower push-in retainers.
6. Release the fascia to fender attaching tab and remove the fascia.




7. Remove the bolts from the front fender.
8. Remove the fender from the front compartment side rail.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the fender to the front compartment side rail.
2. Align the fender to the door and hood.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts to the fender.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




4. Slide the fascia into position and secure with the fascia to fender locking tabs.
5. Install the fascia push-in retainers.
6. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair).
7. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel () in Exterior Trim.
8. Install the grill. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement - Front Bumper - Upper (Fascia Grille Replacement - Front Bumper - Upper) in Bumpers.
9. Install the headlamp. Refer to. Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
