Mirror Replacement - Power

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the mirror trim cover by pulling out at the top.




2. Remove the foam insulator.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror.
4. Remove the nut covers and the nuts from the mirror.
5. Remove the mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the mirror to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts and covers.

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror.
4. Inspect the operation of the mirror.




5. Install the foam insulator.




6. Install the mirror trim cover by placing the lower portion of the cover behind the trim panel and push in on the top fastener.
