Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

CRUISE CONTROL THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

NOTE: Cable adjustment is necessary only if the factory installed cable has been replaced.

(1) Cruise Control Throttle Cable
(2) Adjuster (shown here but actually closer to module)
(3) Cable Snap
(4) Cable Head




1. Partially disengage adjustment lock on cruise control throttle cable by depressing tabs (do not remove entirely). This will release spring inside adjuster to take out cable slack.
2. Make sure throttle plate is fully closed.
3. Ensure cable head is tight against cable snap.
4. Engage adjustment lock.
