Service Manual Update Regarding Headlamp Alignment

Models Affected:
All 2003-2004 Saturn L-Series Vehicles

Attention: Technician

Purpose:

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform the technician and customer of proper headlamp alignment. Review the projection headlamp low beam pattern with the customer. If necessary, re-align the headlamp(s). Note the stepped appearance with this design. If the customer's vehicle displays a headlamp projection as shown in the illustration, neither headlamp replacement nor re-alignment should be performed.

The SI website will be updated immediately and future Service Stall System SI CD releases will include this and other Service Manual updates.

Procedure:

Refer to the "Lighting Systems" section of the 2004 Saturn L-Series Service Manual - Volume 2 (Pages 8-528 through 8-531) and review the following graphics for proper headlamp alignment.
