DVD Player: Service and Repair

DVD PLAYER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the mounting screws from the DVD player trim cover.




2. Remove the trim cover from the DVD player.
3. Remove the mounting screws which secure the DVD player to the console.




4. Remove the DVD player from the console.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connectors to the DVD player.
2. Install the DVD player to the console.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the mounting screws which secure the DVD player to the console.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the trim cover to the DVD player.




5. Install the mounting screws to the DVD player trim cover.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
