Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper).




2. Lower the rear seat back assemblies.
3. Remove the rear shelf panel push pins using a door trim tool.
4. Remove the rear shelf panel from the vehicle by pushing on the panel retainers in the trunk area.
5. Remove the rear shelf panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. If the rear shelf panel is being replaced, transfer the latch insulators from the rear seat back to the new shelf panel.
2. Position the rear shelf panel to the vehicle. Verify that the rear seat back insulators are properly installed over the seat back latch brackets.
3. Push on the rear portion of the shelf panel to engage the rear retainers.
4. Install the remaining push-pin fasteners.




5. Install the rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper).
6. Raise the rear seat back assemblies.
