Service Port Valve Core Replacement

SERVICE PORT VALVE CORE REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
SA9149AC-7 Valve Core Replacer

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the valve core using the SA9149AC-7.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install and tighten the valve core with SA9149AC-7.
2. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.

IMPORTANT: To prevent loss of refrigerant charge, make sure to install and tighten cap. Replace cap if seal is missing or damaged.

3. Using the J 39400-A leak test the fittings of the component.
