Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor harness connector.
3. Remove the IAT sensor by pulling it out of the air induction tube.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IAT sensor.
2. Connect the IAT sensor harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard, and then pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
