HVAC Controller Face Plate/Knobs/Button Replacement

HVAC CONTROLLER FACE PLATE/KNOBS/BUTTON REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the HVAC control assembly.




2. Remove the temperature and mode knobs by carefully lifting the edge of the knob with small flat blade screwdriver.
3. Remove the A/C, rear defog and recirculation buttons by gently prying each outward with a small flat blade screwdriver.




4. Use a flat blade screwdriver to lift the faceplate tabs over the barbs and rotate the face plate off of the HVAC control assembly.
5. Install the HVAC control assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Press the face plate onto the HVAC control assembly until the retaining barbs are seated.
2. Install the temperature and mode knobs by aligning the knob with the shaft pattern. Knobs should fit flush with the face plate. If not, remove them and rotate them 180 degrees.

IMPORTANT: The buttons are interchangeable. The proper order from left to right is: A/C, rear defog, and recirculation.

3. Install the A/C, rear defog, and recirculation buttons.
