Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front (Non-Fold Flat)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
2. Remove the seat side trim. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Fold Flat) (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Fold Flat))Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Non-Fold Flat) (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Non-Fold Flat)) .




3. Remove the seat adjuster handle by squeezing the bars toward the center of the seat.
4. On vehicles equipped with 4-way adjusters, raise the driver side seat cushion.




5. Remove the attaching bolts from the seat cushion frame.




6. Disconnect the J hook retainers from the seat cushion cover.
7. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad assembly from the seat cushion frame.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seat cushion cover and pad assembly onto the seat cushion frame.
2. Connect the J hook retainers.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the attaching bolts to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).





4. Install the seat adjuster handle.
5. Install the seat side trim. 6. Install the front seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
