Steering Wheel Shroud Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.
3. Remove the steering wheel.





4. Place the steering wheel face down on a clean surface.
5. Remove the steering wheel shroud screws.
6. Remove the steering wheel shroud.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice:

Important: Make certain that the steering wheel inflatable restraint retaining clips(1) are in the correct position when installing the steering wheel shroud.

Install the steering wheel shroud and screws.
Tighten the steering wheel shroud screws to 2.5 Nm (22 inch lbs.).
2. Install the steering wheel.
3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
