Attention:

Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to remove the Acadia and OUTLOOK from the models. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-07-30-004 (Section 07 - Transmission/Transaxle).
Condition
Some customers may comment on a check engine light and transmission performance issues with one of the DTC codes set.
Cause
The cause of this condition may be due to the TCM calibration parameters being too sensitive, allowing the code to inadvertently set.
Correction
SI information has changed and the valve clean procedure no longer requires the transmission fluid to be changed.
Prior to making any repairs, perform the valve cleaning procedure using the Tech 2(R) special test function and reprogram the TCM with an updated calibration. This new service calibration is available on TIS2WEB. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) using the appropriate SI procedures. If you cannot access the calibration, call the Techline Customer Support Center and it will be provided. As always, make sure your Tech 2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
