Rear Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure


Notice: Striker alignment is a crucial part of door latch operation. Do not use the door striker to adjust the door to the vehicle. Failure to properly adjust the striker can result in damage to the door latch and the striker.

1. Open the rear door.





Important: Mark the previous installation position.


2. Remove the rear door lock striker (1).
Remove the 2 bolts (2).



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the rear door lock striker.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Close the rear door.
