Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement (Coupe)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the rear compartment carpet.





Important: Remove the rear compartment sill trim panel by using slow and even pressure.


3. Remove the rear compartment sill trim panel.
Release the 7 clips (1).





Important: Mark the installation position.


4. Remove the liftgate lock striker (arrow).
Remove the 2 bolts (1).



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the liftgate lock striker.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the rear compartment sill trim panel.
Install the 7 clips.
3. Install the rear compartment carpet.
4. Close the liftgate.
