Instrument Panel Compartment Door Dampener Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

1. Open the I/P compartment door.
2. Remove the 4 bolts (1).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
4. Remove the I/P compartment.





2. Remove the I/P compartment door damper.

1. Release the fastening clip (1).
2. Remove the damper.




Installation Procedure

1. Install the I/P compartment.
Install the fastening clamp.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the I/P compartment.

1. Connect the wiring harness plug.
2. Insert the I/P compartment.

Tighten the 4 bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

3. Close the I/P compartment door.
