Front Seat Head Restraint Bushing Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat back covering. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement) .




2. Remove the active head restraint frame.

* Detach the active head restraint tension spring.
* Remove the 2 bolts (l).
* Remove frame from guide (arrows).

3. Undo the 2 mounting bearings of the active head restraint.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the 2 mounting bearings of the active head restraint.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the active head restraint frame.

* Insert the frame.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 3.5 N.m (32 lb in).

* Attach the active head restraint tension spring.

3. Attach the front seat back covering. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement) .
