Rear Seat Center Head Restraint Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the head restraint.

* Press in the retaining clamp.
* Remove the head restraint upwards.


Important: Position I shows the lug to the right of the head restraint guide sleeve which must be pushed in for removal.


2. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve (1).

* Push the guide sleeve (1) upwards with a suitable tool (e.g. pointed pliers) and compress both lugs (2) upwards with a screwdriver at the same time.
* Pull the guide sleeves upwards off the rear seat backrest.




Installation Procedure

1. Push the guide sleeve into the rear seat backrest until it engages.
2. Install the center rear seat belt catch holder.
Engage the head restraint with an audible click.
