Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure


Important: Operation identical for 3 door and 5 door without adjustable rear seat bench.


1. Remove the rear seat backrest upholstery covering. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Right Side (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Right Side) .




2. Remove the seat belt.

* Support the seat belt lock cable.
* Remove the bolt.
* Remove the seat belt (arrow).

3. Remove the cable belt lock from belt roller.
Release and remove the cable.
4. Remove the release handle panel seat backrest.




5. Remove the lock, rear seat back cushion.

* Drill out the 4 rivets.
* Pull the cable from the fastening plate.





6. Replace the mount.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the lock, rear seat back cushion.

* Insert the cable into the fastening plate.
* Install the 4 rivets.

2. Install the release handle panel seat back cushion.
3. Install the cable belt lock to belt roller.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the seat belt.

Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

5. Install the cable belt lock.

Important: Operation identical for 3 door and 5 door without the adjustable rear seat bench.


6. Install the rear seat backrest upholstery covering. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Right Side (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Right Side) .
