Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the bench seat.

1. Unlock the 2 brackets (1) front.
2. Support the 2 bench seats from the rear bracket.
3. Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward.

2. Remove the head restraint.




3. Remove the rear seat back cushion.

1. Remove the bolt at front and remove the belt buckle.
2. Remove the 2 side bolts.
3. Fold down the rear seat back cushion.
4. Remove the bolt at back.





4. With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear seat back cushion.
Remove the rear seat back cushion from side guide.




5. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover.
Remove the 9 clips (l).
6. Remove the right bracket.
Remove the 2 bolts (1) (ll).
7. Remove the left bracket.
Remove the bolts (2) (III).
8. Remove upholstery covering all the way around.
9. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve.
Remove the 2 head restraint guide sleeves with the appropriate tool.




10. Remove the upholstery covering.
Remove the 7 clamps.
Remove the upholstery covering.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the upholstery covering.
Position the upholstery covering.
Install the 7 clamps.
2. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Engage the 2 head restraint guide sleeves (audible click).
3. Insert surrounding upholstery covering.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the left bracket.

Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

5. Install the right bracket.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

6. Install the rear seat back cushion cover.
Install the 9 clips.
7. Install the headrest.
8. Insert the rear seat backrest.

Important: Use screw locking compound.


9. Install the rear seat back cushion.

* Tighten the 2 side bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
* Tighten the screw at the back to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).


10. Fold down rear seat back cushion.
11. Insert the seat belt buckle.

Tighten the front screw to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

12. Install the rear seat.
Insert the rear seat cushion and position.
