Front Seat Replacement - Bucket

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Deactivation of the airbag discharge time capacitor.
3. Position the seat to the most forward position.




4. Remove the front seat belt fastening panel.
Remove the panel upwards (1).
5. Remove the seat belt from the front seat.
Remove the bolt (2).




6. Remove the driver seat, rear.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).
7. Remove the front seat.

* Remove from the front guide.
* Release and disconnect the compact connector.




Installation Procedure

1. Install the front seat.

* Connect and latch the compact connector.
* Insert the seat in the front guide.


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .


Important: Use screw locking compound.


2. Fasten the front seat.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).


Important: Use screw locking compound.


3. Install the front seat, seat belt.

Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).


Important: Use screw locking compound.


4. Insert the front seat, seat panel.
Reposition the front seat to the original position.
5. Connect the battery.
