Water Pump Installation





1. Clean the sealing surfaces and the 3 coolant pump threads.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the coolant pump (2) and 5 NEW bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Install the coolant pump strap disc and 3 NEW bolts.
4. Install the ribbed V-belt.
5. Attach the coolant pump belt pulley.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

6. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
7. Install the air cleaner housing.
