55. Engine Oil Cooler Installation

Engine Oil Cooler Installation





1. Clean the heat exchanger-to-oil filter housing sealing surfaces.
2. Install a NEW gasket.
3. Install the heat exchanger (1) to the oil filter housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the 6 bolts (2).

Tighten the 6 bolts.

5. Install the oil filter housing.




6. Clean the oil filter housing-to-thermostat housing sealing surfaces.
7. Install 2 NEW gaskets.
8. Push into the oil filter housing.
9. Install the thermostat housing coolant pipe (1) to the oil filter housing.
10. Install the 2 bolts.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
