56. Exhaust Manifold Installation

Exhaust Manifold Installation





1. Clean the exhaust manifold sealing surface.
2. Install a NEW exhaust manifold gasket to the exhaust manifold.
3. Install the exhaust manifold.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install NEW exhaust manifold nuts (1).

Tighten the 9 nuts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).





5. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (3).
6. Install the wiring harness bracket (2) and bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
