Muffler Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle all the way.




2. Release the muffler fastening clamp.
Remove the nut (1).




3. Remove the muffler from the bracket (1) in 2 places.

Important: Slider.


4. Remove the muffler from the mid muffler.
5. Clean the sealing surface.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the muffler to the mid muffler.
2. Insert the muffler in the bracket in 2 places.
3. Align the exhaust system.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Tighten the muffler fastening clamp.

Tighten the nut 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

5. Lower the vehicle all the way.
