Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure

1. For vehicles equipped with MK60/MK70, bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Service and Repair) .
2. For vehicles equipped with MK60/MK70, apply the parking brake.
3. For vehicles equipped with MK60/MK70, connect the Tech 2 and switch on:

* Select menu "Vehicle Diagnoses"
* Select model year
* Select vehicle "Astra"
* Select "Chassis" system
* Select "MK70 / ABS MK60 ESP"
* Switch on ignition and confirm by pressing the button
* Select "Additional Functions"
* Follow further instructions of Tech 2

4. For vehicles equipped with MK60/MK70, follow the instructions of the Tech 2.
5. Disconnect the Tech 2.

Important: Repeat bleeding brake system if brake pedal is not hard.


6. For vehicles equipped with MK60/MK70, bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Service and Repair) .
