Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
2. Disconnect the battery.

* Detach the ground connection from the ground terminal.
* Remove the nut.

3. Remove the upper tie bar. Refer to Upper Tie Bar Replacement () .
4. Remove the air cleaner housing. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair) .




5. Remove the resonator (1).

* Remove the bolt (2).
* Release the 3x from the upper front (arrows).




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the resonator.
Connect the 3x at the upper front.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the upper tie bar. Refer to Upper Tie Bar Replacement () .
3. Install the air cleaner housing. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Connect the battery cable.

Tighten the nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

5. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
6. Close the hood.
