Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement (Coupe)

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Express Down Feature Caution (Service Precautions) .
1. Lower the window.
2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .




3. Partly loosen the water vapor barrier.

* Remove the 2 holding angles.
* Remove the 2 pins.






Important: Remove the window channel weatherstrip from inside with the appropriate tool.


4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip

* Remove the window channel weatherstrip from the rear window frame bracket.
* Remove the fastening clip from the outer window frames.





5. Remove the rear window channel.
Drill out the 2 blind rivets.
6. Remove the rear window channel.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the rear window channel.
2. Install the rear window channel.
Rivet on 2 blind rivets.
3. Install the outer belt sealing strip.

* Install the fastening clip on the outer window frame.
* Install the window channel weatherstrip in the window channel bracket.
* Install the window belt sealing strip onto the door folding.

4. Fasten the water vapor barrier.

* Install the 2 holding angles.
* Install the 2 pins.

5. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
6. Close the window.
