Liftgate Wiper Motor Replacement (Coupe)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear wiper arm.

* Remove the cover cap.
* Remove the nut.
* Remove the washer.
* Take out the rear wiper arm.

2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the motor, liftgate wiper.

* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (3).
* Release the wiring harness plug (2).
* Remove the 3 bolts (1).
* Remove the motor, liftgate wiper.




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the motor, liftgate wiper.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).

2. Connect and lock the wiring harness plug.
3. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the rear wiper arm.

* Insert the wiper arm.
* Install the washer.

Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

* Install the cover cap.
