Coolant Heater Replacement

Coolant Heater Replacement (LAT - 4 Cyl, 2.4L, MFI, Alum, DOHC, BAS (Hybrid))

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service Intervals).
2. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1).




3. Remove the coolant heater bolt.
4. Remove the coolant heater.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant heater.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the coolant heater bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Connect the coolant heater cord (1).
4. Lower the vehicle.
