Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch.




3. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch screw (3).
4. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch (2) from the park brake pedal assembly (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the park brake warning lamp switch (2) to the park brake pedal assembly (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the park brake warning lamp switch screw (3).

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





3. Connect the electrical connector to the park brake warning lamp switch.
4. Install the closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
5. Check the operation of the park brake warning lamp switch.
