Transmission Front Mount Replacement

Transmission Front Mount Replacement (LZ4 - Gas, 6 Cyl, 3.5L, SFI, V6, Offset Bore)

Removal Procedure


Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service Intervals).




2. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt.




3. Remove the transaxle mount-to-transaxle attachment bolts.
4. Remove the transaxle mount from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

1. Install the transaxle mount into the vehicle and tighten the bolts.

Tighten the transaxle mount bolts to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).





2. Install the transaxle mount through bolt.

Tighten the transaxle mount through bolt to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.
