Instrument Cluster Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement).
3. Position the steering column to the lowest possible position.
4. Remove the instrument cluster bezel screws.
5. Pull rearward on the instrument cluster bezel, releasing it from the instrument panel.
6. Rotate the instrument cluster bezel downward enough to expose the instrument cluster screws.
7. Remove the instrument cluster screws.
8. Remove the instrument cluster from the instrument panel assembly.
9. Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the electrical connector to the instrument cluster assembly.
Install the instrument cluster assembly into the instrument panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).
2. Install the screws securing the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
3. Reposition the instrument cluster bezel.
4. Push inward on the bezel securing the bezel to the instrument panel.
5. Install the screws securing the instrument cluster bezel to the instrument panel.
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
6. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement).
7. Enable the SIR system.SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair).
