Circuit/System Description
The radio monitors the CD change for any errors or malfunctions during operation.
Conditions for Running the DTC
This test runs continuously.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
A malfunction is detected in the CD changer.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
CD changer operation will be disabled.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The DTC will clear when a CD change malfunction is no longer detected.

Circuit/System Verification
Note: Allow the entertainment system to cool if the ambient temperature inside the vehicle is in excess before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure.
1. Ignition ON, with a scan tool clear all DTCs.
2. Radio ON, play a known good CD.
• If the DTC resets, replace the radio.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
