Front Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Striker alignment is a crucial part of door latch operation. Do not use the door striker to adjust the door to the vehicle. Failure to properly adjust the striker can result in damage to the door latch and the striker.

Note: Mark the previous installation position.

1. Open the front door.




2. Remove the lock striker, front door (1).
Remove the 2 bolts (2).

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the lock striker, front door.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

2. Close the front door.
