Front Floor Console Front Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front floor console (1). Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs.
2. Remove the front floor console cover (2).




3. Carefully remove the selector lever knobs (2) from the selector lever cover.
Slide the knobs upwards.
4. Remove the shift level bezel from the front floor console.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).




5. Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs from the selector lever cover from the following:

* Diode unit (1)
* Winter program push button (2)

Note: Do not damage frame of shift lever knob or selector lever knob itself.

6. Remove the shift lever cover.
Feed the shift lever knob through the shift lever cover.

Installation Procedure





Note: Do not damage frame of shift lever knob or selector lever knob itself.

1. Install the shift lever bezel.
Feed the shift lever knob through the shift lever cover.
2. Connect 2 wiring harness plugs to the selector lever cover from the following:

* Diode unit (1)
* Winter program push button (2)





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the shift lever bezel to the front floor console.

Tighten the 2 bolts (1) to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

4. Install the selector lever knob (2) to the selector lever cover.




5. Install the front floor console cover (2).
6. Install the ashtray (1). Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
Connect the 2 wiring harness plugs.
