Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement

Removal Procedure

Note: Remove the lumbar support on vehicles with lumbar support.

1. Remove the upholstery covering for front seat backs. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).




2. Remove the active head restraint frame.

* Remove the active head restraint tension spring.
* Remove the 2 bolts (l).
* Remove the frame from guide (arrows).

3. Remove the left and right molding.

* Remove the 2 bolts.
* Remove the molding.

4. Remove the rear seat backrest seat inclination adjustment.




5. Replace the mount.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear seat backrest seat inclination adjustment.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the left and right molding.

Tighten 2 bolts to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

3. Install the active head restraint frame.

* Insert the frame.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 3.5 Nm (26 lb in).

* Install the active head restraint tension spring.

Note: Install the lumbar support in vehicles with lumbar support.

4. Install upholstery covering for front seat backrest. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).
