Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the bench seat.

1. Unlock the 2 front brackets (1).
2. Support the 2 bench seats from the rear bracket.
3. Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward.




2. Remove the rear seat back cushion.

1. Remove the bolt at the front and remove the seat belt buckle.
2. Remove the 2 side bolts.
3. Fold down the rear seat back cushion.
4. Remove the 2 bolts at the back.




3. With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear seat back cushion.
Remove the rear seat back cushion from the side guide.
4. Remove the head restraint.




5. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover.
Remove the 9 clips.
6. Remove the left (1) and right (2) brackets.
Remove the 3 bolts.
7. Remove the upholstery covering all the way around.
8. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve.
Remove the 2 head restraint guide sleeves with a suitable tool.
9. Remove the seat belt panel.
Remove the cover.




10. Remove the upholstery covering.

1. Remove the 7 clamps.
2. Remove the upholstery covering.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the upholstery covering.

1. Position the upholstery covering.
2. Install the 7 clamps.

2. Install the seat belt panel.
3. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Engage the 2 head restraint guide sleeves (audible click).
4. Insert the surrounding upholstery covering.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

5. Install the left and right brackets.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

6. Install the rear seat backrest cover.
Insert the 9 clips.
7. Install the headrest.
8. Insert the rear seat back cushion.
9. Install the rear seat back cushion.

Tighten the screw at back to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

Note: Use screw locking compound.

10. Fold down the rear seat backrest.
Insert the seat belt buckle.

* Tighten the 2 side bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
* Tighten the 2 front bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

11. Insert the rear seat cushions and lock.
