Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the bench seat.

1. Unlock the 2 brackets (1) front.
2. Support the 2 bench seats from the rear bracket.
3. Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward.




2. Remove the rear seat back cushion.

1. Remove the bolt at front and remove the belt buckle.
2. Remove the 2 side bolts.
3. Fold down the rear seat back cushion.
4. Remove the 2 bolts at the back.




3. Remove the rear seat back cushion.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear seat back cushion from side guide.
4. Remove the head restraint.
5. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover.
Remove 9 clips.




6. Remove the left (1) and right (2) brackets.
Remove the 3 bolts.
7. Remove the upholstery covering all the way around.
8. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve.
Remove the 2 head restraint guide sleeves with a suitable tool.
9. Remove the seat belt panel.
Remove the cover.




10. Remove the upholstery covering.
Remove the 7 clamps.
Remove the upholstery covering.
11. Remove the upholstery padding.

Installation Procedure

1. Insert the cushion.
2. Install the upholstery covering.
Position the upholstery covering.
Install the 7 clamps.
3. Install the seat belt panel.
4. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Engage the 2 head restraint guide sleeves (audible click).
5. Insert the surrounding upholstery covering.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

6. Install the left and right brackets.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

7. Install the rear seat backrest cover.
Install the 9 clips.
8. Install the headrest.
9. Insert the rear seat back cushion.
10. Install the rear seat back cushion.

Tighten the screw at back to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
Fold down the rear seat back cushion.

Note: Use screw locking compound.

11. Insert the seat belt buckle.

* Tighten the 2 side bolts 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
* Tighten the 2 front bolts 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

12. Insert the rear seat cushions and lock.
