Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).


Note: Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate.

1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the front seat belt securing the panel (1).
3. Remove the seat belt from the front seat.
Remove the bolt (2).
4. Place the seat in the most forward position.




5. Remove the rear drivers seat.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).

Note: Disconnect the wiring harness plug.

6. Remove the front seat.
Remove from the front guide.




7. Remove the interior paneling.

* Remove the bolt (1).
* Remove the paneling.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the interior paneling.
Insert the paneling.

Tighten the bolt to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

Note: Connect the wiring harness plug.

2. Install the front seat.
Insert into the front guide.
3. Install the front seat, rear.

Tighten the 2 bolt to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).

4. Reposition the seat to the original position.
5. Install the seat belt at the front seat.

Tighten the bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

6. Install the seat belt fastening panel.
7. Connect the battery.
8. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).
