Rear Seat Cushion Center Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the bench seat.

1. Unlock the 2 brackets (1) front.
2. Support 2 bench seats from the rear bracket.
3. Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward.




2. Remove the center rear seat backrest.

1. Remove the 2 bolts at the front and remove the belt buckle.
2. Remove the 4 bolts, side.
3. Fold down the rear seat backrest.
4. Remove the 2 bolts at the back.

3. Remove the head restraints.
4. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve.
Remove the 2 head restraint guide sleeves with a suitable tool.




5. Remove the rear seat backrest cover.
Remove the 11 clips.
6. Remove the brackets, right and left.
Remove the 2 bolts.




7. Remove the lock panel.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).




8. Remove the cushion cover.
Remove the cushion cover all the way around.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the cushion cover.
Position the cushion cover.
2. Insert surrounding cushion cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the lock panel.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

4. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Engage the 2 head restraint guide sleeves (audible click).
5. Install the brackets, right and left.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

6. Install the rear seat backrest cover.
Install the 11 clips.
7. Install the head restraints.
8. Insert the rear seat backrest.

Note: Use screw locking compound.

9. Install the rear seat backrest.

Tighten the 2 screws at back to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

Note: Use screw locking compound.

10. Fold down the rear seat backrest.
Insert the seat belt buckle.

* Tighten the 4 bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
* Tighten the 2 front bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

11. Insert the rear seat cushions and lock.
